If you have a well-credentialed background and a passion for sharing your talents through teaching others, then please talk to us! We might like to add you to our upcoming roster of offerings and our interests are broad.
Riverbend provides a great opportunity for instructors. We provide wonderful space to teach without any overhead, we handle all liability and facility insurance, we market all the classes and fill your openings for you, you choose the hours you wish to teach (provided space available), we collect all the fees and you get paid an agreed hourly rate for your expert instruction. Basically, we handle all the business and you get to focus on your passion and do what you do best -- offer arts instruction.
You have the benefit of associating with a credible organization that truly cares about all of its instructors and students and wants to see everyone achieve. You will also be able to share your talents as a mentor and provide a service of instruction to those who could not normally afford to pay for your classes through our scholarship program which pays you for your time...so you don't have to give away your time to be of service unless you want to volunteer to do so. Furthermore, with a full house of various instructors, the potential for collaborative performance opportunities for students will exist and more venues to showcase students will be available through Riverbend.
So whether you wish to teach only one intensive group class on a weekend, a mini-offering for groups for only 6 weeks, or a full schedule of group classes and/or individual private instruction for a 14 week semester, we would like to hear from you!

All instructors must submit to a full background check and sign an independent contractor agreement with the academy.
